People often ask what a “typical day” looks like for an artist. The truth is, no two days are exactly the same, but each one is woven with creativity, balance, and intention. Here’s a little glimpse into a day in my world.
🌞 Morning Rituals & Self-Care
I always begin the day by grounding myself. A nourishing breakfast of Greek yogurt with blueberries and sunflower seeds sets the tone—light, wholesome, and packed with energy.
Self-care is a quiet priority. Whether it’s deep breathing, skincare, or simply having a slow moment with my coffee, I give myself that space before the world starts moving.
Then, I head out for my yoga teacher training course, which runs for 2 to 3 hours. It’s a practice that strengthens both body and mind, teaching me to stay present—a theme that flows into the rest of my day.
🥗 Midday Flow
After yoga, I enjoy a healthy lunch and take a moment to reset. I love the quiet in-between—where I can pause, listen to music, or even just sit in the sun for a bit before the next phase of the day.
🎨 Studio Time & Focus
Afternoons are my sacred creative window. Whether I’m immersed in painting or editing a YouTube video, I believe in giving 100% focus to whatever I do. There’s a peaceful intensity that comes when I paint—it’s just me, the canvas, and the colors. Time slows down. The world narrows to a single moment of expression.
On other days, I might shift into business mode—updating my website, replying to emails, managing finances, or handling marketing and artwork sales. I enjoy the mix—it keeps my mind stimulated in different ways.
🐾 Life Moments & Little Joys
Some afternoons, I’ll take a break to clean the house, cook, or play with my cheeky cat Bobby, who always seems to appear just when I need a giggle.
There’s also room for the things that feed my spirit—like practicing the piano, meeting friends for coffee, or simply walking to clear my mind. These everyday rituals are a form of creative self-care too.
🌙 Evenings & Inspiration
Dinner is usually followed by a walk—something to gently end the day and make space for new thoughts. At night, I often find myself brainstorming new art series, reading, or watching motivational videos that reignite my inner spark.
What I love most about this life is the freedom—my schedule is my own. I follow what feels right that day. There’s no clock dictating my creativity, no rigid routine that boxes me in. I feel happy, grounded, and free, doing what I love every day on my own terms.
Being an artist is about so much more than creating art. It’s about living intentionally, staying connected to yourself, and letting your life be your greatest masterpiece.
