8 October 2025 – Grateful for Healing Through Yoga

I attended a two-hour yoga class today and enjoyed every moment of it. My body felt strong, my mind awake, and my breath steady. We focused on movements that ease back pain, and I could feel my spine becoming more limber and flexible with each pose.

There was a time when I suffered from severe lower back pain. Years of sitting hunched over my computer in the office, feeling stressed and unhappy, had taken a toll on my body. Looking back, I now see how that pain was more than physical. It was a reflection of the tension, burden, and unhappiness I carried inside.

Through yoga, that pain has slowly melted away. The practice has not only healed my back but also my mind. It taught me to listen, to be kind to my body, and to let go of what no longer serves me.

After class, I had lunch with one of my yoga classmates. I really admire her as she has overcome so many health challenges and has blossomed into such a radiant yoga goddess. Her strength and dedication inspire me deeply, and I hope to learn more from her journey.

Today, I am grateful to the universe for guiding me to take up the yoga instructor course, for giving me the courage to start anew, and for allowing me to meet like-minded souls who remind me of what’s possible when we live with purpose and self-love.
