Today, I want to express my gratitude to my yoga classmates for helping me with my wheel pose. For the longest time, I could not push up fully into the pose without assistance. Once I was up, I could hold it comfortably, but getting there on my own always felt impossible.
This morning, everything changed. With kind guidance and advice from my classmates, I finally understood what I had been missing. They reminded me to engage my legs and push the way we do in bridge pose, and to place my hands slightly wider apart to create more space.
When I applied their advice, something clicked. I pushed, lifted, and suddenly found myself fully in wheel pose, unassisted, for the first time in years. It felt incredible.
It was not just a physical breakthrough but also a moment of realization. Sometimes, progress comes when we allow others to guide us and share their experience. I am grateful for their generosity, encouragement, and the beautiful spirit of support that yoga brings.
Today, I celebrate this small but meaningful victory and the reminder that growth often happens when we open ourselves to learning from others.
