23 Nov 2025 – Grateful for Food, Abundance, and the Blessings Often Overlooked

Today, as I walked through the supermarket doing my weekly grocery run, I felt a deep sense of gratitude wash over me. Shelves filled with fresh produce, neatly packed ingredients, endless choices of fruits, vegetables, snacks, and essentials. Everything was within reach, and I could simply pick what I needed and go home to cook a nourishing meal.

It struck me how much of a blessing this truly is.

In other parts of the world, people are living through conflict, instability, and hardship. Some struggle to afford even basic food. Some have to ration meals so their children can eat. Others walk for miles just to find clean water or the simplest ingredients.

Thinking of them reminded me not to take my own abundance for granted. To be able to choose what I want to eat, to have a well stocked supermarket nearby, to never worry about having enough — these are privileges many people do not have.

Today, I am grateful for the comfort and security of having food on my table. Grateful that I can cook, nourish myself, and enjoy the blessings of everyday life.

And from my heart, I pray for those who are struggling.
May they be blessed with safety.
May they be blessed with abundance.
May they be blessed with food, comfort, and peace.

I hope the world becomes kinder, more stable, and more compassionate, so no one has to go hungry. 🌿🙏💛
