Today was a beautiful reminder of what community truly means.
As we prepared for the opening of VOA5 Roots and Wings, our artist friends showed up with open hearts, generous spirits, and hands ready to help. From setting up the centrepiece to arranging the paintings and placing every artwork tag with care, their support transformed the gallery into a space filled with life, colour, and meaning.
One of the most touching moments was seeing everyone come together to put up the handmade postcards for charity, each one created with love, now proudly displayed to raise funds for Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society. These postcards, priced at $25 each, carry not just artistic expression but also the intention to give back to the community.
As we stood amidst the buzz of preparation, it became clear that this exhibition is more than a showcase, it is a collective effort powered by kindness, camaraderie, and passion for the arts.
To all the artists who came down today: thank you. Your time, your energy, and your dedication made all the difference. And to Be One Gallery, thank you for curating such a meaningful and inspiring show. We are truly grateful and excited for the opening tomorrow.
