22 Dec 2025 – Grateful for Nourishment and a Healthy Body

Today, I’m feeling grateful for the simple act of preparing meals.

There was an abundance of fresh vegetables and good quality meat, and I took the time to prepare and cook with care and intention for the week. Chopping, cooking, and assembling each meal felt grounding, a reminder that nourishing the body is an act of self respect and gratitude. My 2026 resolution is to eat better and cleaner for a healthier body.

Preparing healthy food is more than just a daily task. It is a way of honouring the body, giving it what it needs to stay strong, energised, and well. In the quiet rhythm of cooking, I felt thankful for having the time, the resources, and the awareness to choose nourishment over convenience.

Most of all, I’m grateful for a healthy body that allows me to move, create, practice yoga, and enjoy everyday moments. Good health is something we often take for granted, yet it underpins everything else in life.

Today was a gentle reminder that abundance can be found in simple things, fresh food, mindful cooking, and the privilege of caring for our own wellbeing.
