Today, I’m feeling deeply grateful for the simple and meaningful moments that made Christmas feel especially warm.
The day began with Christmas Mass at Christ the King Church. Being present in the stillness of the service, surrounded by familiar hymns and shared reverence, set a peaceful and grounding tone for the day. It was a gentle reminder of the heart of Christmas and the importance of gratitude, reflection, and faith.
After Mass, we enjoyed a simple lunch, nothing elaborate, just comforting food and unhurried conversation. Sometimes simplicity allows us to be more present and appreciative.
In the afternoon, we gathered at my mum’s place for a cosy get-together. There was good food, relaxed conversations, and a sense of ease that comes from being among family. I especially enjoyed my brother’s Christmas decorations at home, thoughtfully put together and full of festive charm.
The day ended on a sweet note with his homemade desserts, delicious chocolate tarts and chocolates that were both indulgent and made with love. Small touches like these make celebrations feel personal and heartfelt.
Grateful for faith, family, shared meals, and the quiet joy of spending Christmas in good company. These are the moments that stay with me long after the season passes.
