Yesterday afternoon was one of those simple yet deeply nourishing moments that remind me why relationships matter so much in the creative journey.
I’m incredibly grateful for meeting up with my art curator and artist friend for lunch and coffee. She generously treated me to a lovely lunch at Sushi Tei, followed by a cozy, unhurried coffee at Yakun. There was no rush and no agenda, just good food, comforting drinks, and genuine conversation.
We talked about her kids, her hopes and plans for her art business in 2026, and everything under the sun. The conversation flowed effortlessly, moving between personal stories and professional dreams, laughter and thoughtful pauses. It felt grounding, human, and real.
What I appreciated most was how naturally our conversation shifted into exploring potential business ideas we could work on together. Not in a pressured or transactional way, but in an open and curious spirit. We shared possibilities, exchanged perspectives, and talked through how we might approach things when the time feels right.
It was an enjoyable and heartwarming afternoon, filled with connection, mutual support, and the quiet reassurance that we are not walking our creative paths alone. I am thankful for friendships like this, where generosity, honesty, and shared vision come together so effortlessly.
Moments like these stay with me long after the coffee cups are cleared.
