16 Mar 2026 – Grateful for Safety

Today I feel a deep sense of gratitude for something that we often forget to appreciate until it is threatened. Peace and safety.

I woke up today in a country where life continues quietly and securely. People go about their daily routines. Families gather for meals. Friends meet, work continues, and life moves forward with a sense of normalcy. It is easy to overlook how precious this is.

Watching what is happening in many parts of the world makes me realize that peace should never be taken for granted. There are places where families live with fear, where uncertainty and conflict have become part of daily life. Seeing these realities can feel heavy on the heart.

Yet even within this sadness, I also see something that gives me hope.

Across the world, many who have long been pushed down or silenced are beginning to stand up and fight back. People are starting to question narratives, to look more closely at what is happening around them, and to seek the truth for themselves. There is a growing awareness that things are not always as they appear.

At the same time, it is unsettling to recognize how long some irresponsible and power hungry leaders have been allowed to shape the direction of nations and lives. History shows that when power is abused without accountability, suffering often follows.

But history also shows that actions eventually carry consequences. Those who harm others through greed, manipulation, or reckless leadership cannot escape the natural balance of cause and effect forever. In time, people reap what they sow.

Today I hold hope that the world is slowly waking up. That more people will choose courage over silence. That nations and communities will find the strength to stand on the side of truth, fairness, and humanity.

I am grateful to live in a place where peace still exists. I do not take it lightly. And I hold hope that more of the world will move toward justice, responsibility, and wisdom.

May the light of truth continue to rise. And may humanity find the courage to stand on the right side of history.
