Today we made our way back down from the mountains of Kundasang to Kota Kinabalu town.
The drive down was long and winding, with many curves along the mountain roads. At times it felt a little treacherous, especially with the steep turns and narrow stretches. But the scenery along the way remained beautiful, with glimpses of the hills and valleys that we had spent the past few days enjoying.
I felt deeply grateful that the journey went smoothly and that we arrived safely. Travelling through mountain roads always reminds me how important patience and care are, and I am thankful for a safe trip throughout our time in Kundasang.
Once we reached Kota Kinabalu, we checked back into our hotel and decided to reward ourselves with a massage at a nearby spa. It was exactly what we needed after the long drive. The massage was wonderfully relaxing, easing away the tension from the journey and leaving us feeling calm and refreshed.
Later in the evening, we returned to Imago Mall for dinner. It felt familiar after visiting it earlier in the trip, almost like coming back to a little routine we had formed while in KK.
Today was a gentle transition from the quiet mountains back to the lively town.
Grateful for safe travels.
Grateful for moments of relaxation and rest.
And grateful for another peaceful evening to close a beautiful chapter of this trip.
