8 Mar 2026 – Grateful for Gentle Care for Bobby

Today we returned home after our week away, and my heart feels especially grateful.

I want to thank my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and our helper for taking such good care of Bobby while we were away. Leaving a pet behind is never easy, but seeing him today made all the difference. When we picked him up, he looked settled, calm, and happy. It was clear that he had been well looked after and given plenty of care.

Knowing that Bobby was in such loving hands allowed us to travel with peace of mind. I am truly thankful for their help, patience, and kindness in looking after him for the whole week.

Once we were back home, the rest of the day was spent easing back into everyday life. There was plenty to catch up on. Laundry, supermarket runs, and cleaning the house. The usual routines that await after every holiday.

It felt good in its own way. Putting things back in order, unpacking the bags, and slowly returning to the rhythm of home life.

Grateful for family who help one another.
Grateful that Bobby is safe and happy.
Grateful to return to the comfort of home.

After a week of beaches and mountains, today marks the gentle transition back to routine.
