Today, I feel a quiet sense of relief.
The war in Iran has temporarily paused. Even if only for a short while, it feels like a breath the world desperately needed. An economic disaster has, at least for now, been averted. Lives that could have been further disrupted, or lost, are given a moment of reprieve.
For this, I am deeply grateful.
These past weeks have been heavy. Watching the unfolding tensions, the uncertainty, the fear, it reminds me how fragile peace truly is. How quickly things can spiral when power, control, and ambition take precedence over humanity.
Yet, within this crisis, something else has also emerged.
A growing awareness.
More people are beginning to see the dangers of poor leadership. The risks when decisions are driven by ego, power, and the desire for territory, sometimes even justified in the name of something sacred. It is a sobering reminder that when values are distorted, the consequences ripple across the world.
This temporary ceasefire feels delicate.
Two weeks may seem short, but in times like this, it carries immense weight. It is a window of possibility. A chance for reflection, for restraint, for wiser choices to be made.
I hold hope, but I also remain aware of how fragile this moment is.
There is always the risk of hidden actions, of tensions reigniting, of forces that do not seek peace. And so, this is a time not just for relief, but for vigilance and prayer.
I pray that this pause becomes something more lasting.
I pray that those who act with harm and destruction are held accountable.
I pray that truth prevails over manipulation, and wisdom over power.
Above all, I pray for peace.
Not just the absence of war, but a deeper peace rooted in integrity, compassion, and responsibility.
Today, I am grateful for this pause.
And I hold on to the hope that it is not just a break in conflict, but the beginning of something better.
