Goldfishes are adorable. My brothers and I used to keep them as pets when we were kids. Do you know that goldfish can see more colours than humans, strange but true. They also have memories of up to 5 months.
This piece is part of a series of fighting fish. This fish is known as a Betta and is bred in Thailand. They are very beautiful and colourful but is known to be solitary. Putting 2 together in a tank will result in one death. Thus the name fighting fish.

Yellow roses symbolise happiness and stability in a long-term marital relationship. On the flip side, it can mean jealousy and farewell. However you take it, yellow roses are still very beautiful.

This is inspired by the wild Foxgloves growing every where in New Zealand. I was in awe with the flowers set wgainst the majestic mountains in the South Islands. Do you know that gifting Foxgloves symbolises ambition for others instead of oneself. It is also a symbol for creativity and energy.
I like reading my newspapers scattered all over the table, with a cup of coffee and some fresh flowers, freshly bought from the market. Thus, inspired the newspaper collage with acrylic paints over it to give it a flatlay look.

This is Oreo. He was abandoned at my neighbourhood about 4 years ago. He has a super relaxed attitude and is chill with most things and people. In fact, his superstar personality has attracted quite a bit of fans in the neighbourhood. Not forgetting he is a handsome chap himself, with nice built and a sexy mole. He knows it and acts like the King here. All the other cats see him as the big bro, except for some male Gangsta cats who love to challenge him to a fight because of his large built. He got into serious injuries before because of this.
Strangely, both he and I are drawn to each other since we lay eyes on each other. He follows me up my apartment almost every night via the lift…yes, this fella knows how to take lifts. He will then stay overnight at my place, fullboard with bed, food and water. I must say he loves my Airbnb. 8 months ago, I decided to adopt him as my forever pet. Now he is living the best life ever. Thank God for this!
This is Blackie, the old dame on the block. She was a stray living in my neighbourhood. She is already 20 years old and going strong. Other than having some hearing problem and stiff joints, she is doing extremely well for a stray her age. She is recently being adopted by Animal Human Alliance (AHA) here, so that she can live out here golden years in peace and happiness. Thank God for this!

This is Rupert, the corgi who stays a few doors from me. Every time I see him on walks with his owner, he will pull his leash and run towards me. He will then pounce and slobber all over me. Rupert is a very friendly little boy, always ready to play.

This is Gandalf, the Grey. He is the new kid on the block. We decided to call him Gandalf, the grey wizard from Lord of the Rings, because of his grey fur. This little boy is only 8 months old when I first saw him. He is a boisterous, naughty and curious little boy. I later found out his name is Meowy and was abandoned in my estate. Good news is that he has recently been adopted and is in good hands. Thank God for that.
