In “Birds od Parafise 1”, I sought to capture the delicate dance between nature’s most graceful creatures, the hummingbirds, and the vibrant heliconias that surround them. This is inspired by the pet birds at the coffeeshop near my house. The caged birds are perpetually surrounded by wild free sparrows, but the caged birds are oblivious to the fact that they are caged and have no freedom. Sounds like some of us, both the caged and uncaged, u think?
