The little poem depicts that there will always be suffering and pain in the world, represented by the dark clouds. However, with every dark cloud, there is always a silver lining. The flowers facing the sun represents us, humans, reaching for the light when the sun appears, knowing that everything will be alright. The Sun represents God who never fails to rise and bring hope, joy and love to the world. The dove descending from the sky depicts that the Holy Spirit is always with us, guiding and protecting us, giving us peace in this world.
Lastly, this painting, I hope, aptly represents the verse below:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. – Romans 15:1
