Today, I want to express my deepest gratitude for our helper, whose kindness and care have been such a blessing to my family. She looks after my mum, who has advanced dementia and can no longer eat, bathe, walk, or use the toilet on her own. It is not an easy job — it requires patience, empathy, and strength every single day.
Yet she does it with such grace and warmth. She makes sure my mum is always clean, fed, and comfortable. What touches me most is how she goes beyond what is expected. She even buys food for my mum using her own money, without ever asking for anything in return. Her generosity and thoughtfulness move me deeply.
It reminds me that sometimes the poorest people have the richest hearts. True kindness does not come from wealth or status, but from a spirit that chooses to give and care selflessly.
I am grateful for her presence, her hard work, and her big heart. Knowing that my mum is in good hands gives me comfort and peace of mind. She is more than a helper — she is part of our family.
Today, I am thankful for her compassion and dedication, and for the reminder that love and humanity often shine brightest through the quiet acts of everyday goodness.
