Today was one of those moments that filled my heart with quiet joy. I spent time with my favourite girls, SA and SC, and it felt so good to be together again, laughing, chatting, and simply enjoying each other’s company.
We had a festive Christmas lunch at Straits Kitchen at the Hyatt, and the food was absolutely wonderful. There was such a generous spread of local favourites, but my clear winner was the satay, comforting, flavourful, and perfect for a celebratory meal.
It made the day even more special knowing that it’s SC’s birthday tomorrow, so we celebrated a little early, sharing good wishes and happy moments together. Simple celebrations like this, surrounded by people who truly know you, are the ones that stay in the heart.
I’m deeply grateful to be able to spend another Christmas with my best gal pals. Through the years, seasons change, life evolves, but true friendships remain, steady, supportive, and full of warmth.
