11 Jan 2026 – Grateful for the Opportunity to Create and Share

Today, I spent time planning for my solo exhibition in February, and my heart feels full of gratitude.

Having the opportunity to hold a solo exhibition is something I do not take lightly. It is both exciting and humbling to be given the space to share my work, my voice, and a body of paintings that reflect where I am in this moment.

There is a lot to do. Choosing which paintings to exhibit, shaping the theme, and thinking through how to present and market the show thoughtfully. Each decision feels important, and while the list of tasks is long, it is also energising. This process reminds me why I create and why I continue to walk this artistic path.

I find myself exploring different ways to run and promote the exhibition, staying open to new ideas and approaches. There is a sense of curiosity and optimism in this stage of planning. I’m hopeful that the exhibition will come together well and resonate with those who experience it.

Today, I’m grateful not just for the outcome I’m working toward, but for the opportunity itself. To plan, to imagine, and to look forward with anticipation. This journey is part of the joy, and I’m truly thankful for it.
