25 Feb 2026 – Grateful for a friend visiting my Art Over Coffee Exhibition

Today I am feeling especially thankful for my dear artist friend Kay who came by to visit my solo exhibition at Canopy Esplanade.

It means so much when fellow artists take time out of their busy schedules to show up. We had tea and coffee together at the café, sitting among my paintings, chatting about art, life, exhibitions, and everything in between. There is something very special about having conversations about art while surrounded by your own work. It feels vulnerable yet affirming at the same time.

Kay gave me honest and thoughtful advice. The kind that only another artist can give. The kind that comes from experience, care, and genuine support. I truly appreciate friends who are not just there to praise, but to help you grow.

Being an artist can sometimes feel like a solitary journey. So moments like this remind me that we are not alone. We walk alongside one another, learning, sharing, improving.

Grateful for friendship.
Grateful for guidance.
Grateful for art that brings people together.

Thank you Kay, for your time, your presence, and your wisdom.
