As I prepare to travel overseas, my heart feels especially thankful for my sweet mother in law who has so kindly agreed to look after Bobby while I am away.
Leaving a pet behind is never easy. Bobby is not just a cat. He is family. He has his little routines, his moods, his favourite corners in the house. Knowing that he will be cared for with love and patience gives me so much peace of mind.
My mother in law has always been someone who quietly takes care of everyone. And now she is taking care of Bobby too. Feeding him, making sure he is comfortable, keeping him company. These are small acts that mean a lot.
It takes a special kind of kindness to look after someone else’s pet. To be attentive. To be gentle. To be responsible.
I am deeply grateful that Bobby will be in safe and loving hands. It allows me to travel with a calm heart, knowing that he is cared for.
Family support is something we can never take for granted.
Thankful for her generosity.
Thankful for her warmth.
Thankful that Bobby has another loving human watching over him.
