Today I feel grateful for a slow and refreshing start to the day.
It was a sunny and breezy Sunday morning, perfect for a walk at the park near my home. The air felt fresh and light, and there was a quiet calm that made everything feel unhurried. Tall, mature trees lined the paths, their presence grounding and reassuring, creating a gentle canopy as we walked.
Nature felt alive all around us. Wild chickens wandered freely, adding a playful charm to the morning. Squirrels darted up the trees with quick, effortless movements, and birds filled the air with their songs. These small, lively moments made the walk feel joyful and full of life.
Walking alongside my hubby, the pace felt easy yet energising. There was no rush, just the simple rhythm of movement, conversation, and shared presence.
After the walk, we stopped by a nearby coffee shop for breakfast. A cup of my favourite kopi and a warm pau felt like the perfect ending to the morning. Simple, familiar, and deeply satisfying.
Today I am grateful for fresh air, for nature, for movement, and for moments shared with a loved one. These quiet mornings, though simple, carry a kind of richness that stays with me long after the day begins.
