As the exhibition comes to a close today, my heart is filled with gratitude and a little bittersweet joy. Being part of this showcase at ION Art Gallery has been an unforgettable experience, and I want to express my deepest thanks to BeOneGallery for giving me this opportunity.
Thank you for trusting me with a space in such a prestigious venue, and for allowing me to experience what it’s like to help set up, manage, and look after an exhibition. As a newcomer, I felt I didn’t contribute as much as I wished I could, but this experience opened my eyes and my heart. It taught me so much about what goes on behind the scenes, the teamwork, the effort, the care, and it has made me appreciate exhibitions in an entirely new way. A special shoutout to my artist friends who stayed back till late to help set up the postcard centerpiece.
Along this journey, I reconnected with old friends and made many new ones. I learned from fellow artists who were generous with their time, advice, and encouragement. A special thank you to Quthub, an incredibly talented artist, for gifting me access to his oil painting course on Udemy, such kindness truly means a lot.
The camaraderie throughout these days made everything brighter. From planning sessions to quiet moments in the gallery, from sharing stories to celebrating each other’s work, I felt deeply connected to a community built on passion, authenticity, and mutual respect.
As we close this chapter, I’m holding onto the warmth of this experience, an exhibition that celebrated art, friendship, and authenticity.
